Making Families More Secure
We all have power. Let’s put it to good use by tackling the food insecurity that affects too many Long Island families. Food banks across our island have seen the need for assistance increase as we approach summer when food donations typically decrease.
That’s why PSEG Long Island launched Power to Feed Long Island five summers ago. This initiative has collected more than 150,000 meals for Long Island families thanks to the generosity of our customers. Through a partnership with Island Harvest and Stop & Shop, we will host drives throughout summer to collect non-perishable food and essential care items.
A Look Back At 2025!
A big thank you to everyone who came out to support Power to Feed Long Island 2025. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected more than 14,000 pounds of food. These efforts, combined with financial donations, resulted in a total of 25,796 meals collected.
